The accident happened on Kawai-Atru road at around 12.30 pm. The car was badly damaged after the accident. After the accident the trailer driver fled from the spot.

According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Dr. Suresh Gajraj (38), his wife Dr. Shalini Maurya (35), son Swapnil (12) and daughter Neelisha (7).

Dr. Suresh Gajraj was working as the Chief Medical Officer (PMO) in Mandalgarh Upazila Hospital of Bhilwara district. His wife Dr. Shalini Maurya was also posted in Mandalgarh Upazila Hospital.

The family was going from Baran towards Chhabra on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, the car collided with a trailer on the Kawai-Atru road. The collision was so strong that the car was blown apart and all four people in it died.

Kawai police station in-charge Rajpal Singh Yadav said that the deceased family was originally a resident of Surajgarh in Jhunjhunu district and was currently living in Jaipur.

After the accident, police reached the spot and took the bodies to the hospital and started investigating the cause of the accident. The trailer driver fled from the spot after the accident.
